Seeking Candidates for Lecturer Positions (2022-23 Academic Year)
The African American Studies Department is seeking candidates for a Non-Senate Lecturer position who can teach courses in African American and African Diaspora Studies.
Survey courses (lectures) or those topics with specific areas of focus — such as, politics, music, history, and cultural studies — are welcomed. Lecturer appointments are part-time and made on a quarter-by-quarter basis as dictated by instructional needs and budget constraints of the department.
Quarter academic appointment dates are as follows:
Fall: October 1-December 31st, 2022
Winter: January 1-March 31st, 2023
Spring: April 1-June 30th, 2023
